The BABYLONIAN TALMUD is the primary text of Judaism. Not the bible. When they quote the bible its defined thru the talmud.
Alexander the coppersmith made idols for the pagan gentiles. Money went into the temple coffer.
Where do christians get the idea that the jews in the new testement who were under the power and taught by the traditions of the elders (Mark 7) followed the law?
Concerning Pharisaic beliefs and business
A "middle-class" movement. Unlike the Sadducees, who were tied to the priestly, aristocratic elite and the Jerusalem Temple, the Pharisees were mostly laymen who made their living from various professions. Many were merchants and tradesmen, ⚠️(coppersmiths)⚠️ which helps explain why so much of the Talmudic material—which grew out of Pharisaic thought—deals with commercial matters.
Acts 4:6.
They had investments in making idols for the idol worshipping gentiles. Money went into their God, the temple. 👉 they did not follow the law of Moses concerning the Law on any of the 613 laws.
Pattern was just that. Jesus knew what they taught and practised. And he addressed it...EXAMPLE,
Mark 7 :9-11
if HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER cammandment was broken, CORBAN which is a sacrifice would get them out of the consequences the law called for. They did not even believe Moses. JESUS said
Mark 7:13. "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."
The idol making buisness. It was permitted to sell idols to gentiles. They did not honor the law of Moses on idols because they were being sold to pagans or gentiles. They worshipped the temple as well. It was an idol. Jesus the Lord, on the matter of what they actually believed,
Mark 7:
8. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9¶And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

The Steinsaltz edition of the babylonian talmud, ( authentic Babylonian Talmud)
In it their holy writ states,
Isaiah was punished for saying the children of israel had unclean lips. Yebomoth 49 b
🚨 Tractate yebomoth 49 b - quote,
"When the saw reached his mouth he died. ( and this was punishment) for having said,
"And I dwell in the
midst of a people that have uclean lips."

🚨🚨🚨🚨 Tractate yebomoth 49 b
🚨 from the Baylonian talmud🚨
it...disscusses the execution of
the prophet Isaiah
as a penalty for having said of the israelites they had
unclean lips.
This is what the oral tradition the talmud, judaisms authority teaches about the
prophet isaiah.....
that he was killed, and he recieved what he deserved,
for daring to say, the israelites had unclean lips.

Jesus knew the oral law and traditions of the elders the talmud....in Mark 7 he addresses it. Mark 7 is Jesus on THE TALMUD to the pharisee. They hate Moses and the law.
The talmud is the written form of the traditions of the elders.
