MZTV 1825: More Sheep Than Ever Lack Competent Shepherds

Matthew 9:36-37 reports: "Now, perceiving the throngs, [Jesus] has compassion on them, for they were bothered and tossed as if sheep having no shepherd. Then He is saying to His disciples, 'The harvest, indeed, is vast, yet the workers are few.'"

In the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder, we are witnessing an historic number of people wanting to "find Jesus." But which Jesus will they find? Will they find the fake Jesus described by Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:4 who failed to save the world at the cross and who challenges his creation to "repent, or be burned for eternity"—or will they find the true Jesus who took AWAY the sins of the world, thereby reconciling the world to His Father?

As of today, this unprecedentedly large group of people is being quickly corralled into organizations designed to further tradition rather than truth. I am speaking of Christian churches. The first impulse of Satan in the wake of an undeniable spiritual wake-up call is to get as many as possible, as quickly as possible, into man-made buildings founded upon man-made teachings promoting lies rather than truth about the very Jesus they purportedly worship and glorify.

I remember my own drawing to Christ in the spring of 1979 when I watched the final installment of the "Jesus of Nazareth" series on television. The crucifixion of my Savior shook me to my foundations. I raced to my room at the first opportunity, fell to my knees in tears and said over and over again, "I have to know You. I have to know You. I have to know You."

There began, that day, a battle for my soul, for my life. This was not the day that I realized my salvation. This was the day of my awakening to the reality of the passion of Christ. Satan's first impulse was to get me to a church and indoctrinate me into the mainstream lies. God's first impulse was to get me to the Scriptures. As I was designated before the disruption of the world to be a son of God (thank God!), this battle was won by the God and Father of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My first act after this remarkable day, therefore, was to go to the nearest Christian bookstore and buy a Bible. I bought a New American Standard Bible—still not realizing what a terrible translation it was—but nevertheless beginning my search for the true God and Christ Who, within a matter of three years, rewarded my search with proper revelation—straight and true discovery of God's purpose of the eons, through Christ.

I feel the same compassion for these masses of spiritually awakened people, afraid that they will be (and are being) instantly captured by institutionally-trained pastors (teachers of the false; teachers of tradition rather than teachers of truth), cajoled into the man-made system of lies known as the Christian religion.

My prayer is that God will do His un-gentlemanly thing and rescue as many as are designated beforehand, bringing them to the Word of God—correctly translated and unadorned—where they will learn of a sovereign God and a successful Savior Who, for three days, entered the death state and rose from the dead, not only for those who would be drawn to Him in this life, but for every son and daughter of the Adamic race. And not only for these, but for the dark forces of wickedness among the celestials.

Let God be true though every Christian pastor and teacher and "evangelist" a liar.
