It's My Birthday! I Do What I want! Witchfire

Witchfire is a single-player, dark fantasy first-person shooter developed and published by The Astronauts, blending elements of soulslike, roguelite, and extraction shooter genres.
The game was released in early access for Windows PC on the Epic Games Store on September 20, 2023.
It is set in an alternative historical world where witches are real and dangerous, and players take on the role of a "preyer," an undead assassin sustained by witchfire, on a mission to hunt a powerful witch known as the Witch of the Black Sea.

The game features a roguelite progression system called Arcana, where players gain experience and upgrade their arsenal through repeated expeditions, with the ability to reclaim lost items upon death for a single chance.
Players explore vast, immersive biomes, scavenge resources, and can choose to retreat to their sanctuary, the Hermitory, or confront powerful guardians known as Familiars to unlock new areas and powerful upgrades.
The game's development began as a post-apocalyptic science fiction survival simulator titled "Astro Project 2" before shifting to its current dark fantasy direction, and it was officially revealed at The Game Awards 2017.
