Ryan Mauro presented findings from the files of George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, reviewed together with his colleagues at the Capital Research Center. According to him, more than $80 million were traced to at least 54 groups linked to crimes and domestic terrorism in the United States or to foreign pro-terrorism organizations, including those that supported the October 7 attacks.

Of that amount, more than $23 million went to seven groups whose actions would fit the FBI’s definition of domestic terrorism. Mauro gave examples such as the Center for Third World Organizing, which received $400,000 and boasts of having participated in the riots in Minnesota and of having trained thousands of people.

He pointed out that several of these groups produce protest manuals or activism guides that, beneath an innocent appearance, include links or content promoting Hamas, teaching techniques of property destruction, violence, document forgery, or obstruction of justice. According to Mauro, this is no accident: these groups know exactly what they are doing, and some directly redirect readers to anarchist sites with that material.

Finally, he warned that the numbers could be even higher, since many of these organizations operate as coalitions, meaning that a single group could contain hundreds of entities within it.
