MattTaylorTV! Mini Clip - When I met a Vampire and a Werewolf.

So um I've been busy. I've been busy today. done some done some promotional videos and um I I published a new Taylor tale a Taylor that never made it into the book and it's about when I met a vampire and werewolf out in Hong Kong and it's always stuck in my mind. It's just it's tickled me ever since. They're a lovely couple, Chris and Elizabeth, as I remember. Um, I did forget their names. I I had to check in my diaries to um get their names. So, it was Chris and Elizabeth. They were in the room next to um where Alec and I was were staying. Alec was the friend I went out to Hong Kong with. And one night, we're all getting ready to go out down to a nightclub. And I remember nightclub cuz it was in a in a mall in a shopping there was a big skyscraper. It was a shopping mall, but I think the seventh floor was the nightclub and it was amazing because you went in the escalator and you opened the escalator on the seventh floor and you you walked straight onto the dance floor, man. Fucking wicked. And so it was an awesome awesome nightclub. It was one of the premier nightclubs in Hong Kong that we like to that we like to go to. But anyway, beforehand they invite me into their room for a drink. Okay. And before I go on, uh, oh, right. Yes, let's just address this.

Any thoughts on the Angela Raina, the Deputy Prime Minister scandal involving her property in Brighton? No, I haven't haven't got any thoughts on it. I mean, I come to expect that from politicians. And do you know the reason why they're buying second properties? Cuz they're getting paid shitloads of money.

But anyway, we we'll come back to that. We'll come back to that. Let me finish the story about the vampire and the um werewolf. So, I went into their room. All right. And we're having a drink and they just came out with it. Very strange. They just came out of it. They said, "Oh, by the way, um" and I think it was Chris who told me. Chris goes, "Oh, yeah, but by the way, um I'm a vampire and Liz is a werewolf." I went, "Oh, wow. Okay. Waiting for the punch line. Waiting for the waiting for the smile, but no smile came. And um it's like, oh, okay. Finished the drinks and we got on, you know, we got on and always always tickled me. It's always stayed in my mind. Why would they do that? Why would they introduce themselves as a vampire and a werewolf? But anyway, I thought nothing of it. And Elizabeth was quite a good-look woman to be fair. Uh bit hairy. I know it's a bit of a stout, but snout I mean snout. That ruined the joke there. But anyway, um as an end note, I think Elizabeth came on to me on a dance floor in this nightclub. You know, she whispered in my ear. She goes, "Oh, just in case you wondered whether me and Chris are an item, we're not. We're just traveling companions." So, I was like, "Well, okay." But I just had those words ringing in my mind. Werewolf. So, um, anyway, so I just wanted to get that out.
