Session 3: Man as a Religious Being

In Session 1, we asked: Is it reasonable to believe God exists? In Session 2, we turned to atheism as a belief system with its own implications. Now, in Session 3, we conclude that discussion by looking at what it means for man to be a religious creature by nature. Religion is the way humanity has always sought to relate to God. We’ll take a broad look at the five major world religions, noticing how, across history, man has consistently reached for something greater than himself. Finally, we turn to Christianity—its central claim that Jesus rose from the dead, that He is God—and close with an introduction to the mystery of the Trinity.
