Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticised the recognition of a Palestinian state by these countries, calling it a reward for terrorism. He added that there will not be a Palestinian state. The United States said it was focusing on serious diplomacy and not performative gestures.
