In 1976, when the violent military dictatorship called itself the National Reorganization Process, the Cuarteto Zupay stopped presenting new live shows in Argentina until 1980; the last show was "Las cosas que pasan," performed that same year at the Teatro Lasalle in Buenos Aires.

We didn't need a long trip back then.
We got tanned on Borkum and Sylt.
But today, the tanned people are just white.
Because here, you just freeze all the time.

Yes, back then we had summer holidays.
The outdoor pool was already open in May.
I used to sit outside in front of our house until late at night. Back then we got sunburns
and there were giant jellyfish on the beach, and ice cream,
and every policeman took off his jacket.

When will we have real summer again –
a summer like it used to be?
Yes, with sunshine from June to September
and not so wet and so Siberian
like last year.

And what heat waves we had back then!
Sweater manufacturers went out of business.
