Erika Kirk breaks silence on seeking death penalty for ‘assassin’ Tyler Robinson

Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has said she will not personally push for the death penalty against her husband’s accused killer, Tyler Robinson, leaving the decision to the government.

Robinson, 22, was charged with aggravated murder and other felonies in the September 10 assassination of the 31-year-old political activist at Utah Valley University.

Erika Kirk, speaking to The New York Times, said her faith guides her, and she does not want “that man’s blood on my ledger” to remain with her in the afterlife.

She described coping with grief while caring for their two young children, wearing Kirk’s blood-stained necklace and avoiding their shared bedroom, the U.S. Sun has reported.

Erika will speak at his memorial service in Arizona, vowing that “no one will ever forget my husband’s name.”
