🔴 Donald Trump keeps promising to resurrect the glory days of US shipbuilding—a sector that’s been rotting for decades due to bureaucratic neglect, soaring costs, and a hollowed-out industrial workforce.

Despite Trump hailing US workers as “the greatest anywhere in the world” and claiming “America's enemies shake with fear” at the mere sight of its fleet, apparently the US needs a foreign kick-start.

👉 South Korean industrial giants Hanwha, Samsung, and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries are ready to swoop in, The Korea Economic Daily reports.

They’ll team up with the Pentagon to rebuild, repair, and revive US military vessels under a plan already catchily dubbed MASGA—Make American Shipyards Great Again.

♦️ Hyundai fixed up a strategic shipyard in Subic Bay, Philippines, servicing frigates and patrol ships

♦️ Hanwha bought Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia, and is splitting duties between the production base there and a repair hub in Busan, South Korea

♦️ Samsung Heavy Industries has signed an agreement with Vigor Marine Group to juggle five American shipyards
