Episode 20 – Article Two: The Presidency

Welcome to Our Republic.

The Framers had a problem to solve. They had just broken free from a king who abused power. Then they lived nearly a decade under the Articles of Confederation, where there was no executive at all — and it was chaos. Too much power had given them tyranny, too little had given them paralysis. Article Two was their gamble to land somewhere in the middle.

That’s where Article Two comes in: the Presidency.
