Yes, of course it’s real. DPRK soldiers are and have been fighting on our side for more than a year already. Here in this video we can see more about their kit and their training along with our men.

Highlights:

They use compact Russian–Korean phrase sheets with 10 key commands for coordination.

Gear is Russian: AK-12, “Kokon” body armor, MICH-2000 helmets. Strictly regulation, no extra patches or flair.

St. George ribbons sometimes appear on helmets as a symbol of brotherhood and common cause.

Uniforms are the new VKPO 2.1 and 3.1, essentially on par with our contract soldiers.

In Russian kit they look nearly indistinguishable from Yakuts, Buryats, and other Asian peoples of Russia. More importantly, they fight and take losses as if defending their own land. This is a partnership that will last a lifetime if not more. The DPRK and Russia are now even closer than they were back in the 1970s, and it will be that way in the future. They helped us in our time of need, now we are sure to help them in theirs, god forbid such a time ever comes.
