Three killed during drone attack in Crimea

Russia and Ukraine traded accusations over deadly drone strikes on civilian areas in their countries on Monday, ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where the Security Council was due to discuss the more than three-year war. According to the Associated Press, the Moscow-appointed head of the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula, Sergei Aksyonov, said three people were killed and 16 wounded late Sunday in Ukrainian drone strikes on the popular resort of Foros. The Russian Defense Ministry said there were no military facilities there. The state news agency RIA Novosti published photos of a school that it said was damaged in the attack. The Defense Ministry said air defense systems shot down 114 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions early Monday morning.
