The Aerowyn Tales dedications

My first published books were dedicated to specific people I love. The Aerowyn Tales were started because of a bookstagrammer’s request so the dedications became stories for readers who love adventure, romance, villains, good vs. evil, and fantasy. Each dedication reflects the themes of my stories.

Before I began retelling fairy tales, I viewed all villains as unredeemable. Didn’t they normally die in the end?

But… I’m flawed. I make mistakes. I sin. God gave me multiple chances to accept the path of light. I don’t always make perfect choices but I figure that’s why I’m still on Earth. I’m a work in progress, so I gave my villains second chances.

We all have choices to choose darkness or light so why shouldn’t infamous villains get that opportunity?

I still believe in consequences for actions according to laws and justice. Forgiveness doesn’t erase consequences.
