Miracles

Miracles are designed so that men might know the power of God and turn from their evil ways and for God’s children to see and deepen their faith in the cross. Sometimes we look for a miracle, but what we need is conviction and obedience. They cannot replace obedience to God and His word. When we are always looking for miracles we put the responsibility in God’s hand and take it out of our hand.
Sometimes we think we need a miracle, but what we really need is different information. For example, you think you need a miracle in your finances, and your spending is out of control. You need a budget not a miracle. You might be praying for a miracle4 for your health and what you need is to look at your diet and your activity level. You might be looking for a miracle in your relationships, and yet you refuse to address problems that you know are there. And on and on. Sometimes the miracle is that we finally understand and start doing what we know to do!!
