9.24.2025 'Holy' Is an Unfortunate Word, We Should Understand It as 'Set Apart'

The visible church suffers from a non-Scriptural understanding of what it means to be 'holy.' It isn't so much that the word is wrong as it is that the word has taken on a meaning that is disconnected from the Scriptural concept. Similarly, the modern understanding of 'clean,' 'good' and 'righteous' have also strayed from their Scriptural, Hebrew meaning.
