Earth Girls Are Easy is a campy 1988 sci-fi romantic comedy musical in which Valerie (Geena Davis), a valley-girl manicurist in the sunny suburbs of Los Angeles, gets her heart broken when she discovers her fiancé is cheating. Out of the blue, three fuzzy aliens crash-land into her swimming pool, and after Valerie helps them (and her friend gives them a makeover), they start living life on Earth — going to clubs, learning culture, and falling in love.

Mac (Jeff Goldblum) becomes her unexpected romantic interest, and the film weaves musical numbers, absurd humour, 80s style, and alien antics into a quirky story about self-discovery, love, and embracing the weird.
