From July 28, 2024 - ABOUT THIS MONTH'S MEET:
July is the TRBPS's Blanket Prize Shoot. Entry fee is to bring a blanket prize. Shooters compete for 1st picks from the prizes sitting on the blanket.

The 25 yard relay, paper squirrel, five squirrels, 2 shots each.
At 50 yards, 4" clay birds, 1 point each, 10 shots, hit or miss.

ABOUT:
The Talking Rock Black Powder Shooters, received its charter from the NMLRA January 31, 2020. The TRBPS educate youth from all over the southeast on the history and handling of black powder, muzzleloading and other ancient arms. The charter club has their shooting meets on the 4th Saturday of each month February through October, and the 3rd Saturday in November.

We were created as a result of our parent club sponsoring youth organizations training and education for over 1,000 youth and adults a year for over 13 years and we needed some time to shoot our guns, work on them and interact with like minded adults. We believe in friendly competition but not at the expense of our friendship and fellowship. We shoot the 4th Saturday of the month except November which is the third.
