A 50-meter-deep sinkhole has opened in front of a Bangkok hospital—videos of the collapse are being shared online.

According to the Bangkok Post, two utility poles and a police car fell into the pit after the collapse. About 3,500 patients and residents of nearby buildings were evacuated.

The incident was caused by a sinkhole at the junction of a tunnel and a station near the hospital. Soil poured into the tunnel.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul announced that repairs will take at least a year.
