Sionyx 1050nm IR Flashlight - First Look

This is my first look at the Sionyx 1050nm flashlight. Conditions were about 45 minutes after sunset, so there was still some ambient light (which is why the ADNV output looks so good). It was humid and mid-60s.

The illuminator is set up to be helmet mounted with a rear push-button activation. It has quite a bit of splash as well as a bright center spot. The center spot was a bit much in these conditions, with some strong reflections returned from the car and some gravel/rocks.

My ADNV G14SE is canted to provide better vision up and down.
