🌹💔I was so moved by Dennis Prager sharing his thoughts on Charlie Kirk. While it pains me to see Dennis Prager in his struggle to regain his health, I’m so grateful and excited to see and hear him again.

💔💪 I'll admit, I'm heartbroken watching such an amazing, vibrant man now unable to move, and yet he still found the strength to speak in honor of Charlie. That takes an incredible amount of courage, and I truly admire him for it. Dennis Prager is one of the most brilliant minds I’ve ever listened to, not just intelligent, but deeply principled.

🌹Life is short. You have no idea what tomorrow will bring, so live with purpose, love deeply, and never take a moment for granted.

🚨 In November 2024, Dennis Prager suffered a serious fall at his home in Los Angeles. The fall caused a severe spinal cord injury. He also hit his head in the fall, but medical updates state he did not suffer brain damage. The injury has resulted in paralysis from the shoulders down.

⚠️ Because of the injury, his breathing was compromised (since it affected a high area of his spinal cord, around C3 and C4). He has been undergoing extensive rehabilitation. Although he is currently paralyzed below the neck.

⚠️ Dennis Prager is mentally present, speaking, eating, and able to swallow; basically, his cognitive functions are intact. There were announcements that he would return to radio in June 2025, initially for one hour per day. However, his return has since been delayed due to a setback in his recovery. He is still not able to return to full duty.

👩 Marissa Streit: “We're sitting here today on the day of the memorial of Charlie Kirk. I wanted to sit with you, knowing that it is very likely that if you could, you would have been on that stage speaking in memory of Charlie. But sadly, you couldn't. The world still wants to hear what you have to say, and maybe what you would have said if you were on stage.”

🗣️Dennis Prager: “I think you're right. I would have been invited. Erika knew of our friendship and how much I had touched Charlie's life. He claimed to have listened to more of my talks and courses than probably anyone else, and he might be right. And he's dedicated his last book to me, and I was very moved by that.”

❗When my friend from high school, Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, and he's officiated, I'm sure, at least a hundred funerals, what he does is he speaks to the friends and widow or widower and the children. And he was particularly moved when he would meet the children of the person who died, and they would each tell him that they believe that they were the most loved of the children.

❗And that's what Charlie's friends think. We were all the closest friend that he had. And you heard at the memorial that that's what people felt. That's what Charlie was able to achieve, which is a very great accomplishment.

❗And I would have spoken about his courage, but not just courage, his knowledge. I would watch him respond to all the students who threw everything they had at him, and his responses were so, so excellent and so knowledge-based. I couldn't get over how much he knew and how much he retained. It was all very remarkable. Pretty amazing to see.

👩 Marissa Streit: “Almost the entire cabinet, the vice president, the president, all gathered in one place, right? What is most remarkable is even I, and I'm not sure Charlie knew how big his impact was.”

🗣️ Dennis Prager: “There's a saying among the ember workers in Oregon: “You never know the height of a tree until it falls.” That's the case with Charlie.”
