Serial: Terry and the Pirates, 1940

In order to translate ancient Mara inscriptions, Dr. Herbert Lee  enlists the help of his son Terry, Terry's friend Pat Ryan (Jeff York), and Normandie Drake (Joyce Bryant). A warlord and jungle pirate named Fang plans to murder The Dragon Lady, Queen of the Temple of Mara, and take her ancestors' riches. The Dragon Lady and Fang have both vowed to kill any foreign invaders.
