Authorities in Grand Blanc, Michigan, confirmed that five people, including the suspected gunman, are dead after a deadly attack at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Officials say the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, drove his vehicle into the church, set the building on fire using gasoline, and opened fire on worshippers. Two victims died from gunshot wounds, and others remain hospitalized. And yet, your side has spent years conditioning half the country against the president, his supporters, and figures like Charlie Kirk—labeling them as “Hitler supporters,” “fascists,” “right-wing extremists,” and a “danger to our democracy.” And then you act surprised when lunatics who believe your words decide to take matters into their own hands? The opening statement of Ryan Wesley Routh, on trial for attempting to assassinate Donald Trump last September, was cut short Thursday after he veered off-topic during his self-representation. Joseph Wiener, the Principal of Wheatley School who has worked with Waters, shared his thoughts about her to a Veritas journalist. “She lives that activism and that purpose every minute of every day,” he said. Wiener also talked about his own methods for political activism in school. “We brought in speakers who taught kids how to be anti-racist, and you know, kind of define, ‘What does it mean to be an anti-racist?’ And parents would say, ‘You’re indoctrinating my child. We don’t believe--’ Wait, you don’t believe in being anti-racist?” The principal affirmed that there is no middle ground when it comes to the conversation around racism. “That speaker who we had, that anti-racist guest speaker said, ‘You’re either racist or you’re anti-racist,’” Wiener said. “There’s no in-between. If you’re not doing anti-racist work, then you are contributing to racial divide.”

An Arizona teacher spoke out against a proposed bill for schools to bar books discussing sexuality and LGBTQ ideology, claiming parents have no right to decide what their children learn. In an example that perfectly illustrates the entitled mentality of the radical left, a woke Arizona teacher during a Senate Education Committee hearing last week claimed only she and others with “advanced degrees” were qualified to indoctrinate children about sexuality. “I have a Master’s degree, because when I got certified, I was told I had to have a Master’s degree to be an Arizona-certified teacher. We all have advanced degrees! What do the parents have? Are we vetting the background of our parents?” the teacher said. “Are we allowing the parents to choose the curriculum and the books that our children are going to read? I think that it’s a mistake, and I’m just speaking from the heart.” The educator then recited a quote, “‘We must remember that the purpose of public education is not to teach only what parents want their children to be taught, it is to teach them what society needs them to be taught.'” In other words, reading, writing and arithmetic, the subjects parents overwhelmingly want their children to learn, is taking a backseat to what “society” wants to indoctrinate them with. This may explain why reading, writing, and math scores have been plummeting in the U.S over the last several years. The proposed bill, called S.B. 1700, would require the Arizona Board of Education to “maintain a list of books that public educational institutions may not use or make available to students, including books that are lewd or sexual, promote gender fluidity or gender pronouns or groom children into normalizing pedophilia.” The philosophy that children don’t belong to parents is a key feature of the modern Democrat Party.
