Chelsea Derks - Birth and Post Partum Doula

Chelsea Derks has devoted over ten years to serving communities in Connecticut and Massachusetts through diverse roles, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Nanny, Therapeutic Educator, Residential Counselor for Youth Group Homes, and Manager for DMH/DSS residential group homes. Fueled by a heartfelt passion for supporting others, Chelsea finds purpose in providing compassionate care to those in need.

As a birth support specialist, Chelsea offers three prenatal appointments, thorough preparation and education for labor and birth, and dedicated support during the birthing process. In postpartum care, Chelsea provides light housework, meal preparation, organization of postpartum healing supplies, infant care assistance, baby laundry, dishes, sibling support, and access to community resources. Additionally, as a night nanny, Chelsea ensures infant care while parents rest, helping maintain feeding and sleeping schedules and offering essential support to new parents.
