In this video I want you to hear St. Bellarmine’s words in response to questions asked of him by a Protestant regarding praying to saints and the use of relics and images as we pray. He’s so darn good!

St. Bellarmine had a way with words that was sometimes so simple yet so profound. Many times we might try to provide complicated answers for our faith when simple will do. I know that I do. Keep it simple. I think St. Bellarmine knew best that he had truth on his side so why complicate things. When defending your faith remember you have truth (and history) on your side.
