Mark 7, traditions of the elders IS Jesus address to the *oral law, the talmud. Hes against it. Lol. Jesus knew what it said about Isaiah, Jesus knew the oral law and traditions of the elders the talmud....in Mark 7 he addresses it.
The talmud is the written form of the traditions of the elders.
Tractate yebomoth 49 b from the Baylonian talmud...
disscusses the execution of
the prophet Isaiah
as a penalty for having said of the israelites they had
unclean lips.
This is what the oral tradition teaches about the
prophet isaiah.....
that he was killed, and he recieved what he deserved,
for daring to say, the israelites had unclean lips.
🚨 Tractate yebomoth 49 b -
When the saw reached his mouth he died. ( and this was punishment) for having said,
And I dwell in the
midst of a people that have uclean lips.
This is what Jesus was talking about when he said in
Matthew 23: 31
that "you are witnesses against yourselves...."
concerning the murder of the prophets.
Notice Mark 7:6 Jesus ON PURPOSE REMINDS THEM OF Esaias words right back as a reminder, he remembers what they wrote and rejoiced in in his murder.
