A Chilling Crab

Aloha friends. Here is the third video in the Blue Swimming Crab Saga.

In the first two videos we met mad crab, well here is her companion chill crab.

The blue swimming crab, scientifically known as Portunus pelagicus.

These crabs are fast growers and can reach up to 9 inches wide and weigh between 1-2 pounds. They're omnivores, feeding on anything from mussels to fish and even carrion and smaller blue crabs.
