Living With the Dead in Unseen Culture!

☠️ What do you think of is eating a dog in the video? And also this culture in general?

I traveled deep into Toraja in sulawesi in Indonesia, and discovered one of the world’s wildest and most unseen cultures. Here, death isn’t the end, families keep their deceased relatives inside their homes until they can afford the funeral. A proper funeral requires the sacrifice of many buffaloes, making it one of the most important (and expensive) traditions in the region.

I crawled through an ancient burial cave filled with bones and skulls, where generations of families have been laid to rest. For the highest caste, wooden statues called tau-tau are carved to watch over the village, with their coffins placed alongside them high on the cliffs.

This is one of the most unique and mind-blowing cultural experiences I’ve ever witnessed. 🙈

🌍 Extreme travel. Raw traditions. Unseen cultures.
