While acknowledging the complexities of freedom of speech in relation to social media and the so-called "dark web," he warned against the dangers of invasive surveillance reminiscent of the film "Minority Report." Masters voiced his concerns about authoritarian regimes that seek to intrude into personal thoughts and lives, describing such actions as perilous and indicative of deeper societal issues.
