Dr. William Hurst - Cleansing the Temple 9-13-25

Presented at the Warrior Bride Ministries' 5th Annual Counting the Cost Conference, September 13, 2025 - Dr. William J. Hurst has been in ministry for almost 60 years. He has establishing fellowships, pastored churches, house groups, itinerated in ministry, as well as traveled overseas to Asia, Africa, Europe and Central America.

From 1990 - 2002, Dr. Hurst taught at Canada Christian College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he was the Dean of Leadership.

While teaching at CCC and since 55 college level courses have been developed. They cover subjects relating to the needs, function, and development of integrity of character in leadership. Through the years he has ministered to many whom the church at large has rejected, seeing lives changed and restored. In taking forth the precious from the vile, (Jeremiah 15:19) he has been allowed to be a repairer of breaches or separations in relationships of both the family and church. (Isaiah 58:12)

As president of The Institute for Strategic Christian Leadership he has created an atmosphere in the institute where those who are wounded in spirit and soul can be restored. He has created a tool to restore men and women whom the church has rejected or set aside. Having taught school at all levels of education as well as overseen groups of home school programs, and written courses for all levels, Dr Hurst now travels throughout the Body of Christ, setting up training programs that will instill the unique vision of that local church in their leadership. He also ministers in seminars, class courses in modular form, and regular services.

He acts as Senior Overseeing Ministry for a number of congregations and ministries throughout Canada and internationally.

Dr Hurst and his wife, Eleanore have been traveling together in ministry for the last 12 years and reside in Jacksonville, FL.
