From WATCHMAN To MESSENGER: Our REST Is In The COVENANT - Our REST Is In The CROSS

Exodus 20:8 "..Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." (KJV)

Did you know that the "literal" Hebrew translation of that passage; when you go by the literal characters used in writing it out says the following:

"We rest when we RETURN TO THE COVENANT.." (with the more current characters)

"We rest when we RETURN TO THE CROSS.." (when the character "Tav" is used in ancient text..symbol of the cross)

Habakkuk is a book of the Bible worth re-reading today. Most are familiar with Chapter 2:4 "..write the vision and make it plain on tablets.." But, we need to read from Chapter 1 all the way through Chapter 2 to get a clearer picture of the message of The LORD God to His prophet, Habakkuk; and better yet, read the entire book of Habakkuk.

And then; look back at the Book of Ezekiel, especially Chapters 33 through 34, as God speaks through the prophet Ezekiel of first: the importance and failures of the "WATCHMAN"; then goes into the next chapter which speaks the same of "PASTORS/MINISTERS".
