HIM - Football Meets Horror Meets...Highlander?!

In this HIM movie review, I discuss how HIM was even weirder than I thought it would be. This Jordan Peele horror movie can only be described as something like a football movie meets a horror movie meets Highlander. And the film's messaging is just as messy as that description makes it sound. None of the themes really make much sense, some were just straight-up anti-football, and HIM's final scene is a gory, oddly-campy sight to behold that ruins anything the movie was building toward. Even with some underlying ideas that I find interesting, HIM did nothing but fumble the ball with them.
