A Hard Road ~ Black Sabbath

“A Hard Road” is the second single for Never Say Die! and it peaked No. 33 on the UK singles charts. The lyrics by Geezer Butler talks about the band’s situation at the time, Ozzy Osbourne’s father had died and the first verse talks about it and the refrain spreads the whole message “the rockstar’s life is a hard road to walk.” This song is also unique for being the only Black Sabbath song to feature the vocals of bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi, who provide backing vocals for the bridge and outro sections.
