It is a time of galactic turmoil. The Space Pirates, a ruthless band of intergalactic marauders, have uncovered ancient secrets on the distant planet of Tallon IV. Their experiments with the toxic substance, Phazon, threaten to unleash chaos across the cosmos.

Samus Aran, the galaxy's most formidable bounty hunter, has been dispatched by the Galactic Federation to investigate the Pirates' operations. Armed with her Power Suit and unyielding resolve, she ventures alone to the uncharted world, where remnants of the mysterious Chozo civilization lie in ruin.
