The Book of 1 Corinthians Chapter 10

Warnings from Israel’s History

In 1 Corinthians 10, Paul draws lessons from the history of the Israelites, warning the Corinthians not to make the same mistakes. He tells them that the experiences of the Israelites were examples for the benefit of the Corinthians.

He further addresses the issue of eating food sacrificed to idols, advising them to flee from idolatry and to do everything for the glory of God. Paul emphasizes that they should seek the good of their neighbor so that many may be saved.
