James Comey INDICTED: DOJ Brings Felony Charges

MAJOR BREAKING: Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted on two counts by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia — false statements and obstruction of justice.

According to court documents, Comey faces up to five years in prison if convicted. The indictment stems from his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 30, 2020, where he allegedly lied under oath and attempted to obstruct congressional oversight regarding the Trump–Russia investigation.

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated: “No one is above the law. Today’s indictment reflects this Department of Justice’s commitment to holding those who abuse positions of power accountable.”
