An 11-year-old girl with epilepsy was surrounded, thrown to the ground, punched, and kicked by a group of teens while walking her 3-month-old puppy after school.

The girl, who has epilepsy, suffered a seizure during the assault. The young girl also suffered several injuries to her face and body.

The child’s mother, who had twice requested a school safety transfer due to prior threats from the same group.

No arrests have been made as police search for the attackers; the family awaits charges to feel secure after the approved transfer.
