Episode 1210: Do everyone truly have an opportunity to be saved Part 3

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue with our study on Revelation 2 and the church at Smyrna.

God reveals to the believers the truth about our sufferings, our salvation, and the coming glory. How can these three things be linked?

First the suffering is for the revelation of God's attributes.

Second, salvation is for the revelation of God's grace.

Third, the glory is for the revelation of God's Son.

These three are all required to enter heaven. We suffer every single day due to our sins and the sins of others. There is no escaping it. In these times of suffering, the LORD God truly reveals Himself as well as our changed nature.

It is this divine nature in us, empowered by the Holy Spirit, that keeps us from falling and turning back to the world.

With salvation the LORD God makes it clear that we are chosen, called, saved, and glorified. People do not like this part of the gospel because they want to contribute to God's salvation, they want to earn it.

With the glory, the LORD God glorifies His only begotten Son because He willingly laid down His life for God's children. Oh what a Savior.
