Headed out to a property today to change out the locks — but ran into a little snag.

This homeowner has nearly two different keys for every single door. That means by the time I pulled out my key ring, I wasn’t even sure if I had the right one to get inside. Talk about overcomplicated!

Here’s what happened:

🏠 Arrived at the home to prep for new tenants.

🔑 Realized there were almost 10 keys floating around for the same property.

🤯 Started questioning if I even had the right key to get into the house before I could replace the locks.

🔧 Finally, made a plan to simplify the system by reducing the number of keys needed and replacing the mismatched locks.
