The All-Star Western Theatre graced the airwaves in the mid-1940s and was made up of a variety of different shows. The shows delivered riotous laughs and down-to-earth humor that was a pleasant alternative to other heavier and intense programs. The music of these old radio shows was done by a group called "The Riders of the Purple Sage" and was fronted by Foy Willing.
