NWR - Floyd 3-times lethal level, overdose death - Was the cop conviction flawed?

George Floyd died with 3 times the lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system, so why was there a cop convicted? The “Floyd Hold” is a non-choking hold that police were trained to use safely, at that time. The hold is still safe and is needed by law enforcement, as a safe method of restraint. It seems like the court misconstrued the nature and so-called lack of safety of this hold, in the hands of trained police.
