If God Be For Us

As Paul closes out chapter 8, he is summarizing Romans chapters 6 through 8 and he asks some questions. He asks the questions in order to make the reader think about the answer. Christianity is designed to make the believer think. To think about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and all of its ramifications. To think about Jesus Christ and all He has done for us. There are two problems though. One, people do not want to preach and teach the Word of God. They talk about what is popular or unoffending, rather than preach the truth, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Secondly, too many people only desire a shallow relationship with Jesus Christ, they do not want to spend the time or effort to learn more about Him.
