Trying out Fantasy Maiden Wars demo

Wasn't expecting a Touhou game being done in a Super Robot Wars-like style, but I'm all for it. The Super Robot Wars series needs more competition if you ask me, since all they got as a rival was the SD Gundam G Generation series... and they turned that game into a friggin GACHA GAME of all things.

I know I WILL be buying this game once I have enough money.

As an SRW veteran, Danmaku in this game works as a debuff zone, where it decreases the player's hit and evasion %, attack and increases the damage received if an allied character is in that yellow zone. You either have to activate Focus mode or take out the enemy with that "D" tag on it to proceed safely.

I feel right at home when I started to get familiar with this game. The ON/OFF toggle for the attack animations is ALWAYS a godsend.

Yeah, it would NOT be a Touhou game if the game did not have THAT KIND of difficulty level.
