Bonjour, Smarties. What movies or books remind you of your family?

This story isn’t my normal cup of tea. It’s a quiet character study. Ultimately, I think there are some good lessons, like be careful who you have kids with, be careful who you date, and be sure to take good care of yourself — physically and mentally.

The story is narrated from the little sister’s perspective even though the story is supposed to be about the brother. To be fair, this could be good for showing how one generation influences the next.
