Seventh Rapture — Beloved John | Seven Mysteries Part 6

The seventh rapture in Scripture is the apostle John in Revelation 4. After describing the seven churches in Revelation 2–3, John writes, “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” (Rev. 4:1).

Immediately John was in the Spirit before the throne of God. He experienced a spiritual rapture into heaven, similar to Paul, but returned with a mission — to write the book of Revelation. This event is a promise that the church will not go through the tribulation. The rapture comes first, followed by the tribulation and then the Second Coming.

Around the throne, John saw twenty-four elders clothed in white raiment with crowns of gold (Rev. 4:4). This reflects the bride of Christ — redeemed, crowned, and present in heaven before the tribulation begins. In Revelation 5:9 they sing a new song, praising the Lamb who redeemed them out of every nation by His blood.

This is the final rapture revealed in Scripture before the Second Coming — the beloved apostle John, caught up to witness heaven’s glory.
