Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth has called an end to “politically correct” leadership in the U.S. military, saying his speech addresses decades of decay in promotions and discipline.

Hegseth stated:
“The era of politically correct, overly sensitive don’t-hurt-anyone’s-feelings leadership ends right now at every level.”

He criticized promotions based on race, gender quotas, and “historic firsts,” and announced changes to disciplinary rules and hazing protections. Hundreds of generals and admirals, along with senior officers, have been summoned to Quantico for discussions on implementing these reforms.
