I don’t understand two things:

1. People who get all crybaby online because they don’t like something they don’t have to watch/pay attention to/deal with.
2. Organizations that completely disrespect their fans.

To the former: it is so, so, so very easy to just mute your television.

You can also change the channel, or turn it off.

These are completely viable solutions to your “problem,” and they don’t waste oxygen in the process.

Just quietly go about your business, and you’re good.

To the latter: sometimes I wonder if you, NFL overlords, are trolling us.

Are you in a competition with Harley Davidson to see who can pick the worst, least-appropriate artist for your event?

I mean, Harley throwing Elton John on stage is by far the dumbest to date, but you’ve bumped right up against their “success” many times.

Choosing a rock band, or even a popular country artist—and I hate modern country “music” with the fire of a thousand suns—makes nothing but sense.

Why you don’t do so is beyond me.

But then again, I’m not a complete sociopath.
