Loop Wing Macaw Adams: an Andre’ Puyans dry fly pattern

Valla

Hook: #12 - 18 fine wire
Thread: as appropriate for an adams
Wings: looped teal flank barbs
Tail: brown and grizzly hackle barbs
Body: Macaw tail barbs
Hackle: brown and grizzly dry sized to hook

Head cement recipe:
Goop
Xylene (epoxy thinnner)

Instructions:
Fill a quart jar half full with Xylene
Squeeze a tube of Goop into the Xylene
Shake until the Goop is dissolved; add Xylene to desired consistency

Apply with a pin or needle dipped in the liquid
