New Simpsons Movie Announced for 2027 and Everyone is Confused

A sequel to 2007's The Simpsons Movie has been announced for July 23, 2027, days away from the 20th anniversary of the original and nearly 30 years past the series expiration date.

Current Simpsons is a zombie show. It's been a pale imitation of its former glory and even though it still gets ratings, greenlighting a movie nearly 40 years into its run is a gamble not at all worth making.
