What is the Gospel?

The Bible says we are to share the Gospel but what is it? As Christians we think to share we must have the Bible memorized and be a scholar. That is not the case. I quickly explain the gospel and how to share it.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with Him.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:8 God demonstrated His own love for us that while we were yet sinners, He died for us.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world He gave His one and only Son. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

John 5:24 (Jesus speaking here) Truly, Truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement but has passed from death to life.
